man, that bring back memories. first of our family cottage over 20 years ago had the exact same decor, but the rug was red. nowadays the &quot;cottages&quot; are more like residences, i miss the older rougher ambiance.

if the cottage were winterized the owner could get a good price, as Kawarthas is a hot market - well, at least until recently. mi bredda and sister recently each bought property near Buckhorn.

interior of that cottage looks pretty similar to many of the places we've stayed icefishing...or hanging with friends. not at all uncommon for folks up here to have a &quot;camp&quot; they go to...which is odd...given that most of maine is so rural already...but we MUST go further into the woods on our weekends.

i don't see anyone ice fishing out there. and yeah....i've driven in a vehicle on the ice many many times.

that stove pipe... looks as rickety out doors as it does in.

you just went for the day? no overnighter?

we just went to &quot;get some stuff&quot; but all we ended up taking was the tv and vcr. it was just too cold and the two of us are pretty hardy folk
