the famous Floridita bar where Ernest Hemingway always drank his Daiquiri. That's a statue of him in the corner. Full of tourists, good atmosphere and a great band.....there's also a restaurant. Of course, on the walls you have the black and white photos of Hemingway in Cuba, him and Fidel Castro, etc.

The parque central, the spot where Cubans get together and discuss baseball....big sport there. They are very animatedly talking, you could be forgiven for thinking there's an argument going on....I think the lady walking through the picture gives it an extra touch.....

the roof terrace of the Inglaterra Hotel, a lovely quiet space in the middle of Havana - till the band starts playing! -
and the view is stupendous!!

some of the buildings - in Habana Vieja - are beautifully illuminated at night (but mostly it's pitch black cos there's not much street lighting).

the band on the ground floor of the hotel where there is a street terrace cafe, great for watching the world go by, and chatting to other tourists....

arts and culture really big in Cuba, walked past this guy's studio, door was open, looked inside, he invited me in, was nice chatting to him
