Frankenmuth , popularly known as "Little Bavaria” is a town in mid-Michigan, which is approximately 100 miles north of Detroit. It was settled in 1845 by Lutheran immigrants from Bavaria (a southeastern area of Germany). It’s a quaint little town that I passed through once and have always wanted to stop and see what’s there.
