Wow Jazz, you made me miss HOME, you were right in my stomping grounds from The Cliff House on....

Really I haven't felt sentimental about my years in the Bay Area for a very long time, but this did it, trust me. I recognized every spot you took a picture of, except the big building in the beginning with the curvy glass, but it looked like maybe you were on the freeway coming from the airport, just a guess.

Hmmm, maybe I'm over due to make a trip and enjoy what that pretty city has to offer and of all the cities I've been to, for one of that size it has alot to offer in culture, arts, sight seeing and great places to eat. Love my city on the Bay.

It was definitely aged... u had to drive around the corner to get to the parking lot which wasn't eeven covered... and ther was no bell boy to take your bag unless u requested someone. the carpets in the rooms were worn and the corridors were small, dark and depressing.

I felt like I was in the middle of a scary movie and someone was gonna come through the door at any minute - I slept with the lights on all night - so I hardly slept... and I was just coming from spending 6 nights at the Marriott which was nice and bright asn modern and airy.

I saw a few young, european type guests there so I guess they appeal to the young, on a tight budget, backpacking my way around America crowd.

awwww Tsmall - How awesome that u are from San Fran - it's such a beautiful City... there is so much IO wanted to do but didn;lt have enough time... didn;t get a cxhance to hit the museums etc.

BUt I am glad that my report struck a Chord for you... had I known u were from that side I woulod have consulted u for the best places to see before I went.

hey jazz thanks for the report - SF is so pretty but i can't get with the weather out there

so i go to Universal Studios in Orlando and look at the setup they have that looks just like Fisherman's Wharf - and sweat!

i know trip reports are a labour of love - thanks!
