Help me figure out where to go

for my round the world trip
thinking of Egypt, maybe China, Thailand/Cambodia sound appealing but I don't know what's there. I don't want to go North/South America, Central America or anywhere in the Caribbean (except yard and that's a will do for holidays).

I'm travelling alone, so anywhere that'll keep a solo traveller occupied... So wey mi fi go?

So my brain is working and I'm thinking you've traveled so many places. maybe you can make us a list of where you've been some of the possibilities you are considering.

my suggestions:

<span style="font-weight: bold">Argentina </span>(Buenos Aires and Mendoza or Cordaba) and go see the falls on the border of Uruguary - i know you said no South America but Argentina - especially Buenos Aires is the bomb

Egypt</span> from there stop in Kenya - only a few miles down the road - i don't suggest doing a safari for the whole time - you can go out for a day - that will be enough - we've all been to the zoo

<span style="font-weight: bold">India</span> - yes Bombay is dirty but very colorful and worth seeing
<span style="font-weight: bold">
Japan and China</span> - check out Mo'Fire's old trip report from China - she saw some awesome things

<span style="font-weight: bold">Singapore</span> - best shopping in the world

<span style="font-weight: bold">Fiji</span> - go visit our drifted ancestors there

<span style="font-weight: bold">Australia</span> - but i would have to find a place with the aborgines - talk about living in the yard

Ghana/Senegal/Nigeria</span> - just because i know East and West Africa are do different - viva la difference

Gen, seriously, those countries are on my list of must places to go. A friend spent 7 months traveling through Thailand, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. I was so impressed but he said you need lots of time to make it possible. I'd love to visit Nepal... for the mountain scape and for the feel of being 'on top of the world'.

It's for 18 days--too short.

I asked my sister if she would like to make a trip to South Africa with me... she said next year. So, I've got that one in my back pocket. Argentina sounds good but I'm not keen on South America this year. My brain keeps going back to Egypt and I know it's the allure of the pyramids. My husband think Vietnam and Thailand may appeal to him more and somehow the laid back feel of those countries may suit me more.

Keep the list coming... So far I'm thinking Egypt &amp; Moracco, Vietnam, Cambodia... maybe China. I have until August to finalize WHERE!

I wouldnt even begin to be able to pick one place. I would probably put my top 25 () in a hat and pick from the hat.
