Calgary Carifest 2009

Oksy Photbucket is being a big baby tonight so my pictures are going to be some what backwards

This year the Carifest was held at a new venue and they canceled the parade. Olympic Plaza was built for the 88 winter olympics and has a wading pool/skating rink depending on the season.

Okay these have nothing to do with the carifest but it is right across the street. it is the side of the community outreach program building called cups and I just love the mural

sadly the police have a parking lot there and it is now fenced around 6ft high so hard to get a good shot.

What breed a music di selecta a play? </div></div>yes it was very hot +27C plenty warm enough for the wading pool lawks mi noh know exactly what fuzzy played as him love mix up mix up di tings de but him play dome dancehall, some soca and ting. and there was nuff live acts including the Caribees (folk singers)
