i may not "love" the concrete jungle but as cities goe Philly is a VERY cool one - they've designated many of the original colonial structures as 'historical landmarks', and really kept them up, and have built <span style="font-style: italic">around</span> them instead of knockin em down. many you see in these pics are the original construction from colonial times. many new businesses just move into the old buildings, which makes for some very odd CVS stores and banks. but we love our old buildings and it shows in just how well they are preserved and kept up.
