This is my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather on my mothers side.
This is a page taken from the family tree book
I would post the tree showing the entire lineage and story of the family - but I am reluctant to put that all here.
The family on my mom's side has a documented family history going back 300 years.

WOW!! I have a few names of my great grandparents, but jeeez!!!
Birth & death records in Ireland were always kept by the church. The church that had my grandmothers records was burnt down. For years we were never sure if her birthday was March 20th or May 17th... it ended up in March, but I'm really not sure how we came to that conclusion.
With the church records gone and she being one of 13, I guess her momma lost track.Comment

My brother sent me this photo in email this morning. Me with my son in one of those 25 cent photo both thingies from 1969. I think that was back when I used to iron my hair to try to straighten it!

I have tried tracing my ancestors as well. Even sucked in the old dust on the books at Spanish Town's Registrar but could never go back this far with such detail I think this is fantastic
