I didn't spend alot of time in Manarola; I bumped into one my travel buddies and we had gelato together then again went our separate ways. I went immediately to the train station to take the next local to Corniglia on the cliffs.

<span style="font-weight: bold">To get up to Corniglia from the station you can punish yourself by walking, or you can take the shuttle bus. Again, optimistically I started walking...then I turned back and waited for that shuttle.</span>
