I hate to say it, but after 2 days in the "desert" and endless hours in the car, everything starts to look the same no matter how beautiful it is...not to mention the 100 degree weather! It was time to head north and find some green. Next stop, Grand Canyon.

a coal fired electric plant...didn't quite capture all of the "Too Much Debt?" sign.
I was lewzin it at this point.


the rim of "Meteor Crater" in the distance. Astronauts trained for moon landings here. You can see the crater if you hop a barbed wire/chainlink fence, or pay bucks to the owners of this attraction.
