Inspections can be long and overbearing but here is one of the residences. Residences are located on hotel property and are owned (somewhat like condos). If the owners do not call before the busy season to let the hotels know they will be there it is booked to the guests where hotel earns profit and so does the owners. This Residence goes for about 12 million dollars (Yup that's Beaver Creek). It has four rooms and is booked at the rate of about 8000 dollars per night.

Dinner provided by the hotel...the food was okay, but the restaurant wasn't impressive.

It started out smooth



See that red rock on the right? Up there sits a big wooden cross for a cowboy that was just two risky and he and his horse didn't make the jump (poor horse).

Beautiful pics so far. I was in the rockies in late July and there was still plenty of snow on the mountain tops.

So what kind of work do you do that involves "inspection"

And you went white water rafting?!?!?

The mountains are beautiful huh?

I'm a travel agent for platinum and black card holders so they send us periodically to a destination where we inspect the hotels that we recommend to our clients and stay at a hotel that will put us in the shoes of our clients to better sell their properties. That when our clients ask &quot;Have you been?&quot; We can say &quot;Yes I have!&quot;

This whitewater rafting trip was easy breezy. It was only level three

The water was under 40 degrees. After awhile my hands were so frozen the cold didn't bother me anymore I sat at the front of the boat where I can get the most action and wave hits...btw it's okay to drink the river water

Phatty nice pictures. I have always loved Colorado. I have been traveling there since I was a young child. My father being an avid hunter and fisherman. He kept a cabin there.

Henny way, I wanted to say something about the antlers. My cousin from So Cal in the early 80s married and moved to Utah and started the first company that collected and sold antlers for making household items. They started making and marketing things like in your pictures and they became millionaires doing it. You know in those areas, mountains of Utah, Colorado etc, those are just laying on the ground. My Father has antlers and heads all round his house. Personally after being raised with the heads and all my 'normal' friends being scared when they came to our house, Im over it!!!

Yes it's quiet, yuh cyaa hear di grass (An yes grass mek noise ).

I love it. It's was great to stay, awesome to breathe. I felt so much more invigorated than any state I've visited.
