This sounds very exciting. It would be interesting to see how quickly they can put up a house too.. I mean they get the show down to 40 minutes of viewing time must be a lot that goes on 'behind the scenes'.

I haven't had a chance to gt back over there. Dang, this would be happening on the busiest week of the year for me...

Anyway, in less than 24 hours they had the house up and the wiring in and were sheetrocking the walls last night!

I found a link with some video for now and I do plan to go over there on Monday for the reveal.

Where I used to live in Ohio they are doing a home and just had their reveal day yesterday. My friend works for the cable company that wired the house and they got VIP passes to see it. Show people said it was one of their biggest turnouts so Nanook you better go represent your town!

How very fun! I plan to go Monday for the reveal. Not sure what time it's scheduled for but I'm planning on it so far!

Could you just imagine sitting in Hawaii while knowing all this was going on in your yard and a week ago you had no clue it would even happen?

Awww Seveen!!! My yard is not looking so great right now either.

Well, the public was told that the reveal would be between 12 and 2pm and many people arrived as early as 8 this morning and have been sitting in 85 degrees and humid in a muddy field.

The news is on now and they just reported that the limo with the family is now on the way to the house!

Earlier a "practice" family arrived in a limo. That's Hollywood!

I don't know what that's about but I'm pretty glad I decided not to go for this part. It's supposed to be a nice day tomorrow so maybe I'll take a little jaunt on my scooter and go see the house and take a pic. After 3 days of Bayfront Blues Festival there's just no way I could have gone to this thing today!

I'm sure they'll have a film clip of it online and I'll come back with it when they do!

I just cannot imagine the emotions running in this family at this moment!

It is very very fun! The family spent the first night in the new house last night!

I'm waiting till the hoopla dies down before I go running over there to peek. Throngs of people have come from all over to see and I'll make it a scooter ride or something. The family was on the news last night and they seem just blown away but the whirlwind of the last week!

No local news is invited to see the inside of the place till after the airing of the show, and they're deciding if they'll put it on the season premier or not on Sept 27th.

Wow!!! I love that show

I love to watch the people come together, and the families in need getting a break!

I used to watch it EVERY Sunday... I would be sure to get a good cry in before I started the next week

Hey Bandanna and everyone!!! The show airs tonight on the season 2 hour premier!

I've seen the couple on local TV doing an interview and they seem so sweet and humble about it all. I'm looking forward to the show tonight!
