You are so sweet, it's kinda fun playing that role....now my mother, she was the one, and when she died, I felt the need to pick up the banner and hold it high.

It's so funny, all the things I used to laugh about about her, flashy clothes, shiny things, glittery things, sequins, gaudy jewelry, it all appeals to me now, it is as though she died and went inside of me.

The other day on my FAcebook my daughter said I had turned into her.

Oh that's not my handbag, that is her official doggie carrier, the one she dwells in on the plane. The side facing me has a mesh window where the doggie can see Mommie.

I had bought her this purse when I went to NY with some GF quite a while ago. It was all gold sequins inside gold mesh. When I bought it I said &quot;Oh this is Mollie...flashy and completely tasteless LOL). I took it to her at the hospital, and told her that she would have to get well to use it. She rubbed it and oooohed and ahhed, and sent it home with my Uncle for safe keeping vowing to get well so she could use it.

She never did.

My Uncle then gave it to me, and I left it in the original wrapper for about 2 years now. On my trip to Rodeo drive, I decided to take it and use it for the first time. I said &quot;come on Mom, I'm taking you to LA with me.&quot;

The purse has a neat little side thing for your cell phone, and I loved using it. I didn't care if anyone on Rodeo recognized that it was not one of the big designers, or that it was Tre' tacky. I meant it for her, and she never got to use it, so I used it for her. If you go back and look at the picture of Maya peeking out of the green purse, you can see it right behind Maya's head. And see the bracelet on my arm hanging down, that is hers too.
I miss her so.

See in this picture you can see the little mesh peek holes they make for the doggie to breathe and not feel left out altogether


Would you believe I got this at Walgreens of all places for 10.00

The inside is lined with a wooly soft fabric, it's very comfy. Maya is not Reallllllllllll fond of it, but she puts up with it because she knows it means she is going somewhere with Mommy.
