If you ever make it to Toronto, I highly recommend checking out the Distillery area. I also purchased some beautiful stone jewelry there as well but I forgot to take pictures

As for <span style="font-weight: bold">Sassafrass</span> restaurant...lord have mercy, I cant wait until I return again

Wow, nice little stroll with you Nylah. I have never been to Canada, this area looks beautiful, somewhere I would like to visit, as long as there isn't snow. Thanks for sharing your little trip.

The apple pie with apple ice cream was surreal. I have never tasted anything like that - the flavours were so simple but was just magical to eat. It really was sublime!

The desserts were small but the richness of them all was enough to satisfy the three of us. We were happy to walk to the hotel and burn some of it off.

the only part that was not so fantastic was the apple panna cotta. I have always wanted to try a panna cotta but I can take it off my list now. The texture too resembles jello for me - and I HATE jello - so the others didnt mind it but it wasnt for me.

I had just met the two girls I was with and they turned out to be great girls from Grande Prairie They were just as adventerous with food as I am We are already making plans for &quot;professional development&quot; meetings in Edmonton so that we can have an excuse to eat together

The Marriott chain has the best beds for a chain It is like sleeping on a cloud!

I mean I die and go to heaven when I sleep in those beds and on those sheets Only drawback to the hotel is that you can feel the subway rumbling below

Otherwise I like the Yorkville area

Compry For all the gazillon times I have been to Toronto, I never heard of the Distillery district until this trip. If I had known of it before, I would have visited many times before I really liked the area and wished I had more time to explore it - but I will do that upon a next visit
