Breaking Lent in Sin City

I took a mini trip to Vegas with 2 of my girlfriends...one I hadn't seen in almost 10 years, the other I saw recently in JA after almost 10 years. I loved it. It has a little fun for everyone. I am not a gambler...though I did gamble $1 for about an hour on the penny slot just because I was waiting for a friend... (won $10 and lost it all when she came )

We left NY early in the AM..had a breif layover in Chicago, and after a bumpy flight (most passengers were crouched low as we were landing ) we landed in Las Vegas.

The flight crew are standing by the door wishing us all a good trip. Mi seh eeh hee..an safe travels to unoo...dem look pan mi an kin up dem face. So we come off di plane and my heart is still racing and my palms are sweaty, but mi glad we alive. Mi go di bawchroom go wash off mi face and call home to mek dem know seh mi alive an all mi mada start cuss di pilot and even ask if di airport did nex to sea wata


We get our bags and find out way to our party bus...The bus dropped off a few passengers then finally gets to our hotel Now my perception of Vegas was that everything was on one long strip. It was not so but everything was close together.


So we step inna di MGM lobby...everything looked so fancy and smelled flowery

I fell in LOVE with VEGAS last year when Steve Harvey had the HOODIE AWARDS there.. I did not want to leave after those three days.

I cannot wait to go this year, and found out I could use my Timeshare at one of the Hotels, so my sister and I are going for a WHOLE WEEK OF VEGAS....

Did you see any shows. The live LION KING show, was to die for. I cried the whole time I was so moved.. AMAZING..

Looking forward to seeing what you saw...

no i didnt c n e shows...there was waaaay too much to do in three short days...was gonna c a show but i was like hey...i can c that back home so mek mi gwan tek in the sites...definitely looking to go back again someday

so we go to our room...i had made reservations for dinner that night but that wasn't until 7 in the evening....we had four whole hours to kill but of course the problem with traveling with 3 girls is that everyone has an opinion and no one wants to make the initiative to get anything done...

let's just rest

lets go sightsee

but if we go sightsee we won't have enuff time to come back and get dressed for dinner


argh!!!!

so we ended up jamming at the hotel...listened to some reggae on my laptop and just chilled.













until it was time to get ready...3 girls and one bathroom equals 2 to 3 hours of getting ready...

after several wardrobe changes and finally deciding on an outfit we finally leave and head for the Venetian.

So we got a car to Venetian. We are amazed by the opulence before our eyes. The details of the decor were simply astonishing. We pause to take photos and almost miss our reservation.
