A winter down there as they are on the southern hemisphere. Our summer is their winter and vice versa.

Explain one thing to me…you took these pics in the summer but everyone is in winter gear..is it cold there in Chile in “our” Summer Months?

The first morning, I took a 5 mile run with the Andes in view... it was so beautiful. The weekend morning in Santiago lots of people were running, jogging or riding their bikes. I agree!! VERY fashionable! Likkle Mo came home with the most beautiful, chocolate brown, knee-high suade boots after she saw that ALL women there wear tall boots!!
I found the are we stayed (Plaza De Arms), which is one of the busiest, most popular areas in Santiago to be a little on the grafitti ridden, dirty sides though!! Valparadiso WAS lovely, and a LOT cleaner!!

Sandi...let me know when you are planning for Morocco...Likkle Mo and I backpacked across the country a few years ago...LOVED IT!!

BTW, just returned from a month backpacking around the Middle East (Israel/Jordan?Egypt &amp; Greece)...it's been a while...can you PM me the instructions on how to post pictures on this site!! We could compare my last summer's Chile pictures too!!

Glad to see you are still travelling...so much world, so likkle time!!

Chile is not high on my list of places to see but I am glad I was able to get a taste through you... can;t wait to see the spain and Morocco pics
