He loved it! - going home! -

Had lots of family connections, they live all over and came to &quot;the central meeting point&quot; of a family house in the town where we stayed, so that was great!

Also meant we had to postpone Dogon Country and Mopti (I've been there, but he hasn't), but that will always be there, so great to meet the family!

Mali is a big village, and everywhere we went, they knew us by the family name and what village we came from (some very funny meetings), I was &quot;Mama&quot; or &quot;Madame&quot; &lt;surname&lt;

So Sad to hear about the &quot;crush&quot; at the stadium, where we passed by on the way to the airport! But not surprised, - 1000's of people, cars, no police to overview - just as in Bamako, crazy traffic and heavy pollution too without any control! Saw 2 road accidents with scooter drivers, there are no rules at all! (there are but no-body takes a blind bit of notice!)

Hated going out and crossing the road! &quot;Dicing with Death&quot; as my english friend would say
