still here at the hospital and it looks like we're going to be here another night. So far he's spent Monday night, Tuesday night, Friday night, Saturday night and now Sunday night. He does seem to be breathing a little better but we're still on quarantine...

We're SO happy to report that Amiri is back home and getting better. He was released from the hospital Monday evening. He's taking his meds and chillin' w/Grandpa while Mama and Daddy go to work.

He'll go to STL w/Grandpa Friday afternoon. Me and SH will get to STL Sunday night. We stay for a week, then return on New Year's Eve w/o Ami. We're leaving him in STL w/my parents for a few weeks. I'm not ready to put him back in daycare so soon after leaving the hospital. His stay in STL will allow him time to recover fully. I'll miss him but I know this is the right decision.

I'm glad that Amiri is out of the hospital and hanging out with grandma and grandpa. I read SoulHunter's post in another thread, reminded me of having to take youngerlittleboyblue to the emergency room when he was a few months old. He had bronchitis then, and it cleared up eventually, as it will with Amiri.

Now you can look forward to the falls off bikes, scrapes climbing trees and all kinds of other things that boys do. But don't worry, it really does make them stronger. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70459-hugs.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] </font>
