Old tram cars run through the city


see the guy to the left wearing a tshirt with Jamaica flags. Lots of black people live in Lisboa. Many Brazilian transplants... My first evening, I joined a capoeria (sp?) class, it was dancing, drums... I just looked through and joined in the singing and dancing.

this is like the gateway from the harbor/bay into the old city of lisboa. on the other side is a newer section which has the best sea food restaurants ever





newer section of lisboa...great place for sea food. we took the ferry across...10 mins ride

Don't ask me why but I love those green signs that are above the drugstores-farmacias

I love that I can spot one just by the sign a mile away

The square above is Terreiro do Paco. The bay is a nice place to hang out before heading towards the ferry docking station that took us across the bay to the best seafood gastronomy

Portugal's version of the 'golden gates bridge'. But I think this marina is in an area called Alcantara. Coming directly from Spain into Lisboa we drove across this bridge after passing through the border check...



This is the Christ statue, similar to what they had donated to Brazil...
