After helping ourselves to some cornbread which was on the kitchen counter it was time to head to the falls. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] There is no way I can communicate in words the awesome feeling of walking down to see the 5 falls. They were breath-taking and I found true paz.

The journey down...man that was a workout but it was worth it.

I was no where close to the water but it seems that way.





New over old....the older bridge was washed out by a flood. Our guide said there is talk of restoring the old bridge.



This last pic is of the La Paz Falls. It is the highest of the 5. Truly a fitting name.

We ended the day at the La Paz gift shop where we had lunch...I mean sampled the various chocolates and coffee. Blame Scott. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

Monday morning came way too soon and for the rest of the week it was work work work. I'll add some misc. pics that were taken during the week later.

No time for pics on Monday or Tuesday. Both days we ordered in lunch so we were stuck inside training and giving ourselves only enough time to eat whatever was brought in. One of the things I noticed was that the staff took a morning break, a lunch break and an afternoon break. Very impressive. Meanwhile the North Americans are working non-stop. We need to learn from the Costa Ricans.

Wednesday we (Angela, Scott &amp; myself) decided to go for a walk at lunch instead. We needed to get out of the office and experience was of the sunlight. On the way back I snapped this artist rendition of what the complex where our company is currently located will eventually look like.



Yes folks this is north america at work. Move their call centres to Costa Rica, hire folks and pay them between $200-$600 US per month and lay off the Americans and Canadians. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Chrissy stopped by the hotel that evening and we decided to go out for dinner. We decided on Peruvian because I didn't want anything that I was familiar with. Dinner was yummy and atmosphere was lovely.

Thursday night is all you can eat seafood night in the hotel restaurant. We unanimously voted to dine in that night.

First thing that caught my eye was this. Crab legs, biggest prawns I've ever seen and oysters. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70392-silly.gif[/img] I was in seafood heaven.



I talked Scott into trying oysters...He didn't like it. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img] Said he doesn't think he'll ever acquire the taste for it. Wimpy. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]
