Thought I'd post of few pics of our trek across the US. My friend was moving from MI to AZ and wanted someone to make the drive with her.

Sorry some of the pictures are not really great as I haven't yet figured out the best way to take good shots when it's really dark.

This was an adult video store on the side of the Hwy. What you can't see in the picture is the rest of the buildins all lined one right after the other. First there was a liquor store, then an adult video store, then a hotel than a church.

We stopped off at the Oklahoma City Memorial. It was so beautiful and my heart broke all over again just being there.

The two different times on walls on each end of the memorial, represent the time right before the bombing and the time right after.

The lighted chairs represent each that was killed. The smaller chairs represent the children.

This is the traffic we had to drive into to get back on the hwy. There was an accident. Looks worse than it was but it really didn't take very long to get thru it.


I'd always wondered how the ambulance get thru alot of traffic.

We had checked into this hotel. Walked in to our room then walked back out, got our money back and moved on to a different one. It was nasty! However we went back to the bar that was at the hotel LOL. Great time there. J and I both had our first real two-step dance with a cowboy.

We went to the Route 66 diner in New Mexico. It was a lot of fun and great decor!!
