OK yuh si how rumor start - mi say the young lady is a friend of ours that live in Dubai - how you translate that into - is Magic girlfriend \o/ - oonu Jamaicans is nat easy!!!

we nevva have no drama - drama free weekend - except wen mi reach ah de place (party) an discover that mi overdressed and beg Magix fe carry mi back home so mi coulda change \o/ poor thing - and he did it too yuh nuh - he is such a wonderful man... ***try memba why mi did divorce him... oh yes the 13 baby moddas him did have pon de side****

Yes he is good good people... Derek was supposed to come to the party but he posted us out so I didn't get a chance to meet him - maybe next time...
The party was held at Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa.

It was so nice! looking forward to he next one in November!

OK so after we had a leisurely meal by the water and we had luxuriated in the fact that we could get REAL beef to eat if we so desired... we did a little sightseeing around the little area we were but then it was time to head back because the party was that evening and we had to spruce up before the event.

Now they had stated that it was a beach party and we should wear Jamaican colors... I had nothing in Jamaican colors that I considered suitable to wear so I opted with what would be normal party wear for me...

So first of all our taxi driver could not find the place (Magix wanted to enjoy himself so he didn;t drive - such a responsible guy)... we drive round this roundabout mussi like seven times and him stop and ask someone directions eventually - him all carry we go to this hotel and tell us to get out... we couldnt hear any music so we refused
We ask more directions and the hotel people told us to go back out on the main road and head back down to... you guessed it - the roundabout

Eventually we reach and had to walk bout two miles from the taxi stand up to where the party was - two things I didn't take into consideration / know about - one was that the dance area was gonna be on sand - so my four inch heels were not making it... secondly the sea breeze wreaked havoc with my hair... within minutes it had pouffed up into a gigantic something

is a pity I don;t have any pictures of that... so I threw myself onto Magic's mercy and begged if I could go home and change into something more appropriate...
Poor Magic - all he and Jahlive wanted to do was chill, drink a beer, relax and enjoy the music...

We had already arrived like 2 hours late (but who starts a party at eight anyway

But like the gentleman he is - he said yes and they took me back home so I could change. I don't have pics of the 1st outfit... I think one of the photographers took a pic and I saw it once but now I can;t find it.

Once we got that out of the way and go back - it was pere niceness!!! only complaint is that them lock down the dance too early!! by two o clock it was time to shut down Just when mi ready fe really get mi groove on!

Coincidentally expat friends of ours from Mumbai were also in Dubai that weekend so we invited them to the dance... a good time was had by all!
