Griffith Observatory

This past Saturday I went to the Griffith Observatory here in LA.

It was closed for renovation in 2002, recently re-opened in November 2006, and cost $93 million dollars to complete.

After we toured the Griffith Observatory we decided to go downtown and check our the fashion district a.k.a the alley.

Here you can get cheap fashionable clothing, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, wedding supplies, purses, luggage, fancy hats, and most of all great vendor food.

I was going to take pictures of all the hustle and bustle but ended up leaving my purse and camera in the car so I didn't have to haul it around the whole time.

Nice! I spent a week or so with a friend in Los Feliz many years ago, which is fairly close to Griffith, I think....got more pics? These are lovely.

Ohliz, Los Feliz is the exit you take when getting off the freeway to go to the Observatory, you were REALLY close.

BUT, in about a month my dad and step mother are coming for a visit and I will be taking them all around LA. I'm make sure that lots of pictures taken and they will be shared with everyone here.
