Yes it is because I'm bored.
This past weekend wI was invited to do the scripture reading at a church anniversary service in Buffalo. The service started at 4 p.m. so we headed out at 12:15 p.m. thinking that would give us enough time to check into the hotel, relax, change and then head to the service. Traffic down the 410 was a breeze, 403 the same....until the hit the ramp to enter the QEW. Bumper to bumper....I turned to 680 to see what was going on. According to them traffic was backed up to Bonte Road. No problem....another 45 minutes of this and we'll be fine. Bronte Road came, traffic was still tied up. OK...switched back to 680. Traffic will be tied up to Burlington Road. OK...no problem. Burlington Road came...TRAFFIC IS STILL TIED UP.
It usually takes me an hour from my house to the Niagara Falls border. On Sunday after leaving the house at 12:15 we finally pulled into the hotel in Buffalo at 5 p.m. Several times Mr. Compry wanted to turn around but after speaking to the pastor, I decided not to because she told us not to worry about the time since we had no control over it. She wanted to meet us so whatever time we got there would be OK.
We finally got to the church around 6:30 p.m. and discovered that God had a reason for getting us there at that time. Heaven came down and glory filled our souls.
Next day we decided to stop at Niagara Falls since Mr. Compry has never been. Despite being pulled over by immigration, the car being searched, us being searched, we were determined not to allow anything to spoil the day. Got to the Falls on what was a perfect day. It wasn't too hot or chilly...perfect weather.
I took quite a few pics but will only show a couple of my favourites.
