Funny, I was thinking what a bangarang when looking at the pics. Stil I would have loved to be there in the thick of things.

Which part the carnival was? It looks like warehouses. It should have been held on A1A fi lively up the place.

Lockhart Stadium off Commercial Blvd. They had problems getting a place to have it because of the tremendous growth in such a short time. The reason for the warehouses is that the area up there is a commercial district and a small airport that caters to small private jets and planes sits next door. The fact that there are so many businesses nearby is great because you don't have people complaining about folks pissing, parking and/or passing out on their lawn.

The area also sits just on the outskirts of the heart of the Caribbean community while A1A has too many old farts (who will complain) and too close to the large gay community who might mistake the colorful celebration for one of their own and join in. You already know that would not go over too well.
