i have seen tours from London to Ghana for very reasonable prices

and i think i've seen packages from the USA also

the packages weren't A/I - just flight and hotel - it may be cheaper than buying your own ticket

also try a consolidator - i've gotten some good fares that way also - even though i flew Air India - best food on a flight ever [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

the beaches there remind me of negril

Haven't been, but always recommend looking at tour group to reduce costs as a possibility -then your $2k may cover both the air and accommodations....
