Ah, thanks, Loops.
Here the weather has been terrible.........far too cold for the time of the year (coldest Easter for 40 years, it was a white Easter!! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img])

that's why I haven't been able to get into springtime on the balcony yet. I have some fantastic aloes too, all inside, they need to go outside, but not now, it's still too cold..... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

some of the tulip etc. beds at keukenhof were all still in bud cos of the weather [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bexbad.gif[/img]

oh, wonderful. I had one once and was dumb enough to throw it out when all the flowers dropped off. then someone said oh they will regrow eventually........ [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70456-eyebrows.gif[/img]

the orchid paviljoen at keukenhof was amazing!! (and nice and warm [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img])

not only will they regrow new buds....those flowers bloom for months! and in the winter...when not much else is.

Beautiful pics Marielle, a couple of the soft focus shots look like paintings. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

Were seeing a few things sprouting up these days... crocus is everywhere already, but tiger lilies and tulips are pushing there likkle heads up and I notive the buds on the trees are more noticeable.

It should reach 70 degrees today, so I think more soon come!!

I really enjoyed the pictures [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] I love gardening and seeing flower gardens, that brighten mi day [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

Oh Marielle,

I did not see this post until today. I just came back from Amsterdam a few weeks ago and fulfilled a dream of seeing the flowers at Keukenhof. The fields you show that were dry were full of flowers when i arrived. Field and fields of flowers as far as the eye could see, all different colors, beautiful.
I will have my own dutch garden when my bulbs arrive in october, I am plotting out planting areas now.

I truly loved amsterdam's vibe and I will come back soon.
