It was a proud moment yesterday for residents of South St Andrew who graduated from a parent training programme, an initiative of the constituency's Basics Initiative programme. Here graduate and president of the Basics Initiative, Venice Campbell (centre) gets the attention of MP Omar Davies (second right), Dr Beverley McKenzie, parent coordinator, and who gave the main address, as well as fellow graduates. The ceremony, which took place at Avon Park Crescent in the constituency, also saw the launch of a parenting manual.
