The verdict in the Cuban light bulb case freeing Kern Spencer and Coleen Wright has so far emerged as a Pyrrhic victory as the public still harbours grave doubts about the outcome. As a female, I sincerely hope that claims in the media about disagreements between two women, Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey and DPP Paula Llewellyn, had nothing to do with the ruling.
