Managing Director of the Transport Authority Donald Foster points out the scope of the activities being carried out by the authority's staff, in partnership with the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, at the Pechon Street Transport Centre in downtown Kingston to Custos of St Andrew Marigold Harding, last Friday, Labour Day. The Transport Authority was kicking off its transport centre modernisation programme, which is geared at establishing acceptable standards of safety, comfort, cleanliness, order and convenience for the benefit of commuters and operators alike at transport centres across Jamaica.
