Walter H Scott, QC (second left), district grand master of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, presents a cheque for $500,000 to Leroy Anderson, administrator of Jamaica National Children's Home, while Rev Bernice Cox and Robert Forbes, district grand secretary of the District Grand Lodge of Jamaica, look on. The presentation was made recently and was one of three made by the Freemasons Association of Jamaica. The other charities that received donations of $250,000 each from the freemasons were the Women's Resource Outreach Centre, the Kingston YMCA; Jamaica Cancer Society, and the Salvation Army for emergency relief work during the 2014 hurricane season.
