Winsome Gordon accepts the gavel, a symbol of her authority as the new president of the Rotary Club of East Kingston and Port Royal, from her predecessor, Howard Haughton, at the club's 16th installation banquet at Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston Saturday night. In her acceptance speech Gordon, who is also the Jamaica Observer's accountant, said: "This year we'll demonstrate our commitment to the charge from Rotary International President Gary Huang to 'light up Rotary' through the various projects we will be undertaking in the areas of focus within the communities we serve."
