Charlton Steel, 43: I got a call from my mom who lives in Florida telling me that they say a plane crashed in Port Antonio so I was wondering if it crashed on land and I was wondering what happened when the plane come down. I never knew what was going on until I turned on the radio. I was driving on the road and I heard on the news that it was off shore so I stopped worrying. Well I'm not aware of what they were doing at the time. I would be speculating if I said the response was not fast or it was. I guess there must have been some communication between the US authority and the Jamaican authority prior to the plane coming into our airspace so I cannot say if the Government did or did not respond quick enough or if it was good.
