As the sun sets for the final time in 2014, Laswick Cole, a 72-year-old resident of Greater Portmore in St Catherine, splashes himself in the Kingston Harbour, saying he was "washing away the saltness" of 2014. Thousands of Jamaicans this morning welcomed 2015 in churches, while hundreds attended parties and balls at several locations across the island.
