My girls got excited — we just can't help it, can we — about the promise of fireworks to come in the Turks. Excitement is now turning to disappointment. As one of them said, "A promise is a comfort to a fool". Not to be outdone, my BFF chimed in "But is a fool who makes empty promises." Nuff said!
