JAMAICA Observer online readers have expressed disgust at the brutal slaying of 14-year-old Kayalicia Simpson just outside her home in Newlands, St Thomas early Tuesday morning. Kayalicia's body was found with several chop wounds to the back of the head about 30 minutes after she went outside her house while getting ready for school. She attended Donald Quarrie High. Reacting to the act of savagery, Observer readers called for the resumption of hanging. Here are some edited comments:
