Jamaica sees growth in forest lands – survey
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The amount of land classified as forest in the island has increased by a net figure of 1,394 hectares per annum since 1998, according to a 2013-2014 survey conducted by the Forestry Department, taking the total to 441,000 hectares.
