A group of young women show off gift certificates they received courtesy of Digicel last Sunday, which was observed as International Women's Day. In their observance of the day, a team from the telecoms company visited Missionaries of the Poor to honour, celebrate and motivate young mothers who choose to keep their babies. The session was also attended by teenagers who were not mothers, but shared similar challenges in one way or the other with the young mothers and mothers-to-be.
