Member of Parliament for North West Clarendon Richard Azan (fourth right) makes a financial donation of $500,00 to acting principal of Claude McKay High School James Smith, to assist the school in its practical areas of learning. Witnessing the presentation are (from left) Orville Hackett, councillor, Frankfield Division; Adrian Boreland teacher at Claude McKay; Janice Edwards, board representative; Hugh Meredith, board chairman; Dwayne Datiste, Dwight Coburne of the Constituency Development Fund, and Pauline Scott Blair. All five schools in the constituency, Claude McKay, Alston, Edwin Allen, Spaulding and Thompson Town, each received $500,000 under the programme which Azan started last year.
