JAMAICA and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela are this year observing the 200th anniversary of the famous Jamaica Letter, written by Venezuela national hero Simón Bolívar, whilst exiled in Jamaica in 1815. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the 10th anniversary of the signing of the PetroCaribe Agreement.
