Five recipients of the Gore Developments Limited/University of the West Indies Scholarships paid a courtesy call on members of the Gore executive management team last Thursday at the company's offices in Kingston to express their gratitude and share the positive impact that the scholarships have had on their lives so far. The five students are among nine to benefit over the last two years from $6.4 million in scholarships awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, great financial need, and who have notable abilities in sports, including tennis. Awardees span several disciplines including medicine, business, and economics.
