Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller makes a point during a courtesy visit with Secretary of State for Latin America and International Cooperation of Spain Jesús Gracia, at Jamaica House on Tuesday. Simpson Miller said Spain and Jamaica have enjoyed a longstanding relationship and expressed her gratitude for the number of Spanish investments in Jamaica, especially in the area of tourism. The Prime Minister noted that the investments support Jamaica's growth and development agenda. Gracia said Spain looks forward to maintaining the longstanding relationship with Jamaica and assured the prime minister that new investments are already on course.
