CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC) — The Government has confirmed a request to grant a waiver of the diplomatic immunity of Dr Walid Ahmed, St Lucia’s Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) in the United Kingdom, to answer a claim for additional financial relief in the High Court in London from his ex-wife, Christina Estrada — a former Pirelli calendar model whom he married in 2001 and divorced last year in Saudi Arabia.
