NEW YORK, USA (CMC) — Caribbean immigration advocates have won a major victory after a United States federal judge ruled that part of an immigration regulation has set the bar too high for obtaining lawful permanent residency for spouses of Caribbean and other immigrants taking a second shot at marriage.
