Jamaicans joined other Chritsians from across the world yesterday at special services across the island to mark Good Friday, the most significant day on the Chritian calendar, as they reflected on the crucificion of Jesus — a sacrifice to save mankind from sin. Members of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kingston took it even further by taking to the street as one carried the cross, while some ‘jeered’ and others ‘wept’ as they witnessed the beating given to the ‘one who came to save them from sin’.
