Parents, past students and corporate executives read to students of Lannaman’s Preparatory in Kingston yesterday as the school joined others islandwide in observing Read Across Jamaica Day, organised by the Jamaica Teachers’ Association to celebrate Education Week. The day is also designed to give children a sense of the value of reading and to promote literacy.
