United States Ambassador Luis Moreno showers former Jamaica ambassador to the United States, Stephen Vasciannie with praise, during an appreciation reception that the US envoy hosted for Vasciannie at his St Andrew home, last week. Moreno said that Vasciannie deserved to be specially recognised for the work that he did to strengthen relations between Jamaica and the United States, and also personally thanked the university professor for personally facilitating him when he was appointed to serve in Jamaica.
