MONTEGO BAY, St James (JIS): Programmes manager at the Sandals Foundation, Heidi Clarke has disclosed that the seven-year old entity has been spending US$1.5 million annually to help improve the lives of Jamaicans and citizens in other parts of the Caribbean. Speaking at a JIS Think Tank here recently, Clarke said the resources in cash and kind have gone mostly to projects in health, education and marine preservation. She cited the Caribbean Sick Kid Initiative, where the foundation seeks to build the capacity of hospitals across the region.
