Denise Samuels (seated), human resources and training manager at Jamaica Private Power Company, is surrounded by a bunch of curious eyes and smiling faces as she hands out gifts to students at Bowerbank Basic school in East Kingston last Friday. The staff project, dubbed ‘Happy Faces’, included a toy drive, where staff members donated toys during Child Month (observed in May), and were later distributed to several schools in the Windward Road community, including Rita Jane Thomas and Eastern Preparatory.
