Law enforcement officers at Duhaney Park Police Station and residents of the 22 communities they serve will soon begin to enjoy more comfortable facilities, thanks to an Appliance Traders Ltd (ATL) donation of a 24000 BTU air conditioning unit. The station, which forms part of the St Andrew South Police Division, cited a heat problem, particularly in the guardroom/main waiting area, due to the malfunction of the facility’s long-standing AC unit. Accepting the timely sponsorship from ATL Kingston’s Warehouse Manager Edward Richards (left) ,last Wednesday, is Deputy Superintendent of Police Ethel Halliman-Watson (right) and Woman Constable Shana-Kay Vassell.
